June 2026
June is my birthday month and of course we spent a lot of time eating lol. (1) C and I had a pre-birthday date as we wanted to try this place that served one of the more authentic fish and chips in our area, and I’m happy to report that the hype was real. (2) T, who was in Germany during my birthday, had a cake delivered at midnight for my birthday salubong (welcome). (3) Birthday buffet in the hotel where C and I spent my birthday weekend. (4) My birthday dinner with T and A a week after T arrived from her trip.
Decided to splurge for a joint Father’s Day and birthday celebration and checked in for two nights in a room with an ofuro (Japanese wooden tub). They gave me a birthday cake!
New books! I hadn’t bought books in a while considering how my TBR pile is still a pile - I think these are my first book purchase of this year, representing my current interests: psychology, art, and relationships lol. Also, I think I may have already gotten my planner/journal peace. Got this ring binder which I’m currently using as my EDC catch-all and I’m in love!
