- Stop talking to yourself in that critical voice.
- Instead of saying "I should...", start saying "I get to..." Appreciate that you get to do these things.
- Remember B.F. Skinner's reinforcement and punishment. In corrective behavioural change. you get to modify your thoughts and behaviors to improve your health and your overall well-being.
- Goals don't always have to be some life-changing altruistic aspirations.
- You do have a goal!
